Our Story

Hi there! We’re so glad you found our corner of the internet. For our first blog post, we wanted to share a little background on our relationship as sisters and how that led to us writing books together. So, without further ado…

It Started with a Book

As much as I’d love to say we were best friends from the start, it wouldn’t be completely true. We’ve always loved each other, but like all sisters, we can have our moments. Being separated in age by a few years made it hard to find things we had in common. Our mom was sure the day would come, but us, not so sure. We should have known it would work out because Mom seems to always be right. Who would have thought a book about a rainy town, love, and vampires would take us from sisters to best friends. Yes, Twilight started it all. It took a few months of pestering Krystle to read it, but she finally gave in...with some help from Mom. This moment is something I will always be thankful for because it bonded us. We finally had a common interest. This only led to other shared books, movies, games, and some of our favorite memories. It started with a book and now we write books together. It’s a crazy, only God could have planned, full circle moment. Moral of the story: never underestimate the power of words—especially when they form a book.
